It’s nearly July 1- ready for UBC.

July 1 is the date the new Ultimate Blog Challenge is due to start.  I am not sure I am ready, but I am trying.  I have had a busy week this week and next week is looking BIG too, so I will have to work hard to complete the tasks in UBC!

This week I have been busy with meetings and buying a new car.  some days I have had three or four meetings in a day – some in the city (50 kms away) and one on the Sunshine Coast (60 kms away), and so much in between.  Two days I have been away from home for more than 12 hours, and people keep emailing me or phoning with things for me to tod and I have been offered two more writing gigs this week too.  Not sure that I can make do it all, but will certainly do my best.

I am still writing for Weekend Notes – and enjoying that too.  By the way, it is an international site, so if there is anyone interested in writing for this site, please let me know.  Send an email to me  at di at and I will send you information and be your mentor.

I love driving – and as part of my love of driving and my writing for Weekend Notes I write. I am planning another trip, so decided to get a new car.  My new car is due to arrive tomorrow I think, and will confirm that when I deliver the payment to the car place today.  I have bought a Red Barina. I am quite excited about it as it has some modern “appliances” that I have not had in my now second favourite car, my Lancer.  My son will be the new owner of the Lancer.  Will have to take a photo!!

So roll on July 1 and I have plenty to write about.
