A Little on Writing

I have been writing – mainly detailing my Ghan adventure on another Blog – you can read it here, and catching up with some other commitments on writing.  Also I have been offered two more writing jobs, so I am a bit under the pump at the moment.

Today I had just a small number of my photos printed at Officeworks – and have pasted some onto 5″ x 7″ cards, which I am planning to send to grandchildren.  One is a photo of a camel I met in Alice Springs, and the other is of the Dingo Fence which passes near Coober Pedy.

So tomorrow I will be writing two letters, with information about Camels in the outback and the Dingo fence which is the longest fence in the world.

Yesterday, as I had a bit of driving to do, I listened to the CD that arrived from the US last week.  My, some great info which I will share in due course for my writing friends.  One of the tips was to start writing each day at a website called www.750words.com – the idea is to start each day writing some 750 words.  Actually I usually start the day with far more than that, but will give the website a trial run and see if it works for me.

So, any writers reading this might visit the site and see if it is helpful to them.  Feedback is welcome.
