On my journey to Eden I found myself in Bega – Bega Cheese territory. And there along the highway was the Cheese Factory and Information Centre. I went in and had a look in the centre, and walked around. One can buy Bega Cheese there of course, and one special cheese Heritage Cheese which is only available there.
I thought the sign on the toilets was amusing – Cows and Bulls!
Here’s more info about Bega Cheese.

I had booked into a cabin in a Caravan Park on the beachfront at Eden. My cabin was not on the front row, but one back and was a reasonable cabin, but not the best I have stayed in. Not the worst either.
When I registered on arrival I was surprised to learn that the manager of the park had previously lived in Beachmere – in fact one street away from me. After unpacking my bits and pieces I drove into town to look around and find something for my evening meal, but many places were closed, so I happily went to my supplies box and found something to satisfy me for my evening meal.
After a good night’s sleep, I set off in the morning to look around. It is a popular and picturesque spot and I drove around checking out the places.

Late in the afternoon I went into the Killer Whale Museum – a very impressive Museum, which I will write about in Weekend Notes. The area was a popular fishing and whaling spot in early days, and the Museum has so many wonderful exhibits within its walls. It also is high on a hill in Eden, with great views out to sea.
Eden is certainly a very interesting and picturesque town.
