Fly, It’s Quicker

Yes, it sure is quicker to fly.  I choose to drive on my journey, for a number of reasons.

  • I like driving
  • I can stop when I want to
  • I can take plenty of photos
  • I can keep warm in my car
  • I can choose my daily adventures
  • I don’t have to sit and wait for public transport, or a taxi.
  • I can take heaps more stuff.
  • I can take my bike.

Yes, all of that and more.   Some folk in the last few days have warned me about the cold weather in Tasmania.  No problems. I can turn the heat up in my car and I do have my Chinese coat. There’s no way I’d comfortably fit that into my luggage and it would be a pain as carry on stuff for a plane.

I am all set to drive.  It’s raining this morning so I will wait a little.  I’m all set though have to fold the e-bike and put it in the boot, but there’s plenty of space for it.  I’ve closed all windows, turned off power points etc.

I will worry for a while that I have done everything.  Still, I can probably buy anything I want if I find I am missing something.
